Tutorials have begun last week.

And hell, they sure are fun.

Unlike back in JC where tutorials are basically mini lectures where you bring your tutorials to class, and the teacher goes through the answer on the whiteboard, down here, the tutorials are basically like...

Tutorials.

Or an internet forum, to be precise. The teacher asks a question, and the entire class answers and debates, especially in LAWs, because it's so controversial (morality or justice? \o/)

However, accounts is the only one which is taught JC style. You cannot blame the tutor/lecturer though, it is very dry stuff. Nothing to debate. LoL.

Assignments are all announced. The earliest is on the 5th of September, a 1500 word essay on a reflection of going to some festival. Management is probably the one which will kill me. 10 journal reviews on a specific subject! There are thousands out there on my topic (Organisational planning), and I have to seriously narrow it down. Two months to do it. :o

BEWARE - This one has an extensive police record, including being on trial for attempted rape (he slipped a girl a date rape drug), burglary with intent to commit a felony, robbery, cancelled checks, suspended license, and a harassment and stalking charge. He is very, very, charming - the police have informed me (because I also filed a report against him for harassment), that he is considered a professional con-man.

I know that he also infected the computer of the girl he dated before me and he conned her into putting the down payment on a truck and he promised he would make the payments to her.

It ends with: If you ever see him though, instead of calling him Skip, you can call him UNIBALL!!!

You know, I WOULD have believed her story, if it wasn't the last part. This sounds like some jealous girlfriend out for revenge because the guy dumped her.

This is just one of the many cases where people just post stuff for the fun of it.

Run a mile girls, if this man comes onto you. He can be very charming but, when he gets to know you he is possesive, abusive and a cheater ! He is a lebanese muslim, has been married at least three times and has always one or two "on the side" He can't hold a job, is unable to get on with people (YOUR friends and family)and will fleece you for every cent you have if you let him. He likes expensive things but not paying for them, he has 5 children (at least) with different women and supports none of them. This man is basically a nasty, nasty piece of work, he will have a wife at home (mail order) and will be chasing you ! Run away fast !

Seriously, this site should be shut down, as quickly as if it was hosting child porn. Such a site merely calls for defamation suits (Imagine our beloved leader on it! XD). The television show has also interviewed the women who had posted the things on the site, as well as the guy (who's happily married with his wife). The guy denied everything (having 5 girlfriends, drunk, violence, to name a few), while his ex said "He deserves it! He's a *censored*!"

Interesting how technology is these days. However, while this site targets women, it can also be used in many other ways. For example, your lecturer failed you in your recent essay. What's the best way to get back? Get his picture off the year book, post it up with his real name and write rubbish about him. Of course, do this at a Lan-shop or something.

Great way of revenge.

In fact, no matter how hard I think, the benefits of such a site is minimal at best. The television DID find a man who is guilty of all these crimes, and his girlfriend was reduced to a crying heap when she uncovered the truth. However, what's the chance of that? One in one hundred? A thousand?

Million?

Seriously, I thought the worst was over with nasty sites (tb,goat and whatever). Now, it seems like people just have too much Bandwidth to spare.
